Please help: 5 button mice in xp.

Hey guys, I've got a microsoft laser mouse 5000. All 5 buttons work fine in windows but i can't assign the fifth button in any game. Does anyone know how to map the fifth button for games?

Can you not rebind the key under Windows?

I can. All five buttons work in windows for whatever function i assign them to. I use the intellipoint software included with the mouse. The problem is games don't recongnise the right button...
