hi all, i'm soon to place an order with regards to my new gaming/overclocked rig. im basically looking for something that'll run games really well and have very fast overall performance. can all please let me know how im doing so far, suggestions are really appreciated.

the parts im not too sure about are as follows.

is my gfx card the best X1900 XT-X for the price?
my power supply, will it fit in the antec 180 ok and is it nice and quiet?
my cpu fan, is it nice and quiet and will it do a fantastic job of cooling?
my burner, is it any good?
and is the opty 170 better for overclocking than the x2 4400?

thanks all, in advance.

Mantrid.

Good spec, the motherboard I personally love but as the voltage raises towards 1.6 volts it can struggle. I BELIEVE however that Opty's are low voltage so that issue shouldn't hit you and you should ahve a very nice solid overclockable rig.

You have done a very good job with the spec.

Do go for the Opteron 170 as they are very good overclockers.
The Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler is very good & quiet also.
The PowerColor ATI Radeon X1900 XT-X 512MB is the cheapest XTX card & considering these are currently the fastest topend cards its a great buy.
The Samsung SH-W162C 16x16 DVD±RW is a great burner - i have one & they are also very quiet which is nice.
