Please help. Bad image.exe atiu9pag.dll

Ok so after searching for help with this issue I come up with a blank. Recently I fired up Bad company 2 and started getting the following error message.

BFBC2Game.exe - Bad image.

C\:Windows\system32\atiu9pag.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.

I notice it does this also when it has loaded into Windows with Javaw.exe Bad image also.

I have tried a system restore and that gets me nowhere, I have scanned for viruses etc. I really am at a loss and cannot understand how to fix this problem. If anyone can shed any light on the problem or has any suggestions I would be really grateful.

Run a full disc check would be a start.

Thanks. I should really of done that. I am so used to looking on google for fixes that I forget about tools within windows. I have run a diskscan and still the error remains any other ideas at all? Thanks
