Please help me choose a graphics card that won't bottleneck

If I buy a new display that's full HD, will a DVI connection get the best out of it? Or HDMI?

They're exactly the same in terms of video output (both digital), the only difference being HDMI can carry audio as well as video

For that budget I would just get the 5770 1gb. GTX 260 and 4890 are a bit faster but without DX11 and are both large cards. The 5770 1gb is a tiny DX11 card. I had a GTX 260 and it was great but I see no reason to buy one now unless it was £60-70. Mine was £138.99 new from here in april 2009.

460 is a cracking card and when overclocked its performance rockets, 460 would be my choice.

the thing is you're not really gonna be able to use much in the way of dx11 features using a 5770 as it just isn't powerful enough so it's not really an advantage in this case
