I would really appreciate some help and suggestions for my new monitor purchase. I currently have two dell p2421d monitors. I enjoy using them but the problem is that my laptop (Dell Latitude 5400) will only support one of them in QHD and the other in FHD. I am finding this a bit annoying especially when I have a lot of text on the HD monitor to read. I also use onenote a lot for my lecture notes (I am a history student) and find that on a 24'' screen I have to keep on zooming in and out to see all the notes on each page.

I am looking to buy a single larger monitor to replace my two 24'' screens. I realize I will loose a bit of screen real estate doing this but I am hoping that the better picture quality will make it worthwhile. I don't have a massive budget and would ideally spend as little as possible. I am not sure whether QHD will be ok or whether I have to go to 4k? The usage will be 99% reading ebooks/articles and word/onenote.

Ideally I would go for a USB type C monitor for convenience. I am currently considering this monitor: https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/del...21d/apd/210-axnj/monitors-monitor-accessories

I can get it for about £350 with my student discount. I would be really grateful if someone could advise me as to whether this is a good option or potentially give some suggestions. I do not mind what make it is.

Thanks
