Hi all, I'm currently after a netbook for use at university. I will greatly appreciate it if anyone can recommend me one with the following specs:

CPU: Has to be dual-core, doesn't matter whether its Intel or AMD (can recommend single core ones too since dual-core ones seem to be rare)
Screen: 8.9 - 12 inches, at least 1280x720 or 1366x768 resolution
Graphics: Either Nvidia ION or ATi integrated 3000/4000 series (intel is crap)
RAM: Not really bothered as long as its upgradable.
Battery life: doenst really matter no me
Hard drive: doesnt matter
WLAN and Ethernet port
Willing to spend up to £500

So far the only one I've found that fits the spec is the Acer ferrari one which costs £400 and looks very cool too.

Your resolution requirements rule out anything less than 11 inches screen size. The Acer Ferrari "Netbook" is treading a fine line between being a Netbook and an Ultra Potable i.e. It’s not small, light or has a long battery life and it’s specification are higher than most Netbooks. Also, it doesn’t have an HDMI out port which is quite a big omission.

In terms of alternatives – there are loads of Netbooks launching soon with Ion’s and better specs than what is around now.

Oh, I didn't notice notice that it didnt have HDMI, I guess I can forget that then. Been looking at the Point of View one as well now
