My current contract with Orange ran out 3 days ago, so I have the option to request my PAC code and bugger off to a different network or chat with the nice people at Orange and negotiate a decent new deal.
Now... my problem is that I am greedy and have been looking at the deals on the Dial a Phone website - particularly taken by the free iPod video deal. However, I am wanting some advice as to what they are like as a company and whether or not I should stick with Orange as I have never had any problems with them in the past. The alternative to Orange is to go Flext 35 by T mobile (via Dial a Phone), which seems an ideal tariff for me. I am sure that Orange will attempt to price match this (in fact I know they will as I chatted with them earlier) but I obviously won't benefit from free iPod etc.
Also, need some advice as to which phone to get. I have always been a Nokia fanboy and swore I would never stray, but maybe it's time for a change  I've currently got a 6230i which I have had no problems with :)

TIA

Wouldn't bother with any sort of "free" ipod deal. What do you want a phone you get to do, mp3, camera........ If you dont mind (too much) what phone you get ie, if you would be happy with the W800i (soory its not a nokia) then I can show you where to get it for £1.99 p/m and the you will have loads of money left over to buy 2 ipods or even more.

Edit- I wouldnt go anywhere near dial-a-con either.

Main uses for phone in order are:

*Making/receiving calls
*Texting
*Taking the odd photo when necessary e.g. nights out etc - so a half decent camera would be nice. 6230i I have now has 1.3 mega pixel and that does the trick.
*Size - don't want anything too chunky or that is gonna break in my pocket

Ok, well the W800 is the same size if not smaller than the 6230i it also has a 2MP camera. it also boots an MP3 player and 512mb memory card. What sort of mind do you use each month how big is your bill? You could save a lot of money by the sounds of things.

I've been looking at the w800, but surely I'd be better off getting a w810  My bills are around £35 - £40 a month and my usage varies each month. I can honestly say that Flext 35 looks perfect for me and I'd be over the moon with £35 bills each month :)

The W810i would be better (slightly) but would cost you a lot more, are you £150 bothered?

I can get the w810i free if I stick with Orange. Same as if I switch and go to T mobile :)
