Which one would you pick?

Asus ATI Radeon HD 6950 OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

or

Asus ATI Radeon HD 6950 DirectCU II 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

I understand they are similar but I just want everyones opinions as I am going to buy one today!

The first one is a dual-slot design, and the second one is a triple-slot design.

Dual-slot design takes less space, while triple-slot design runs quieter.

It's totally up to your personal preference.

I understand that, neither card will be an issue, just want everyones opinions.

If I bought YOU one of these, which one would you want?

For my HTPC of course I'll choose the dual-slot one, because the triple-slot one doesn't fit.

For my mid-tower machine (or even full tower machine) I'll never be satisfied with only a single 6950, and I'll definitely go for a pair. In such case, if my mobo has very good PCIE spacing, i.e. at least 3 spare slots between the two x16 slots, then I'd go for a pair of the triple-slot cards for less noise; if my mobo only has 2 spare slots between the two x16 slots, then I'd go for the dual-slot cards because I obviously want to avoid having two cards sticking firmly together.

Can I recommend another card?
Have a look at the MSI twin frozr 6950. That would be my personal choice as the cooler is brilliant and the CS is much better than Asus'
