Please help me find a PSU that's 140mm long

That's easy, the Seasonic Focus Plus series are all 140mm long and one of the best psu's you can buy at this time. They are all single 12v rail designs and the 550w has 540w on the 12v rail, the 650w has 648w on the 12v rail and the 750w has 744w on the 12v rail. All have a 10 year warranty. You can read reviews of the 550w here, 650w here and 750w here. No reviews of the Platinum yet as it's too new but probably in line with the Gold units. You have just missed the 650w version being on special offer as it was the same price as the 550w version.

If you want to save even more space take a look at the excellent Corsair SF models which are argueably the best SFX psu's around. They are both gold rated and fully modular and built by Great Wall, have single 12v rails of the full 450w and 600w and have a 7 year warranty. Both are 100mm long. They are not exactly cheap but they are extremely good. Review of the 450w here and the 650w here.
