Hi,

So, looking to jump on the bandwagon and build a HTPC..

I did originally consider ITX, but for various reasons have decided on mATX.

Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for cases to fit the following dimensions. I really can't budge on these, these are the upper limits.

(h) 35.5cm x (w) 22cm x (d) 38cm
(h) 13.77" x (w) 8.67" x (d) 15"

Case Requirements:

1) mATX form factor
2) Able to fit 350w PSU at least (preferably ATX form factor, but not essential)
3) at least one 3.5"
4) at least one 5.25"
5) Available in the UK (or Europe with cheap shipping)
6) Ideally no more than £70 (or £100 with PSU)

So far, I've found:
InWin BK644

Antec NSK3480

Various ChiefTec Cases

Silverstone SG09

Many thanks in advance!

As you mentioned the Siverstone sg09, the sg10 has recently been announced same size but front looks a lot cleaner axing those grill vents for a mesh. But either the Lian Li or the SG09/10 would be a great choice. Due to the size of the case needed you'll be hard pushed to find anything in the budget (<70) side due to it being a non standard size.

Only thing I can think of is due to the specific size requirements is that the case will be sitting inside a cabinet or piece of furniture. So keep in mind the v351 has the optical drive and front usb ports on the side. But depends on where the OP plans to put the case just surmising.

Yep, in a cabinet. The v351 after relooking at the dimensions is too big.

Been looking for cases for a good few days; looks like the antec or the new sg10

Think the SG10 would be the better option then, build on the sg09-10 is better than the antec. However due to the size of the SG10 you might want to look into a modular power supply as it makes life that little bit easier as there isn't much room to hide cables.

Decided to go for the Silverstone SG04 in the end, re-measured and the height required comes out at bang on 36cm - which is exactly the same height as the SG04. Fingers crossed their spec sheet is correct!
