Please help me fix Battlefield 4

I haven't played BF4 in a while and decided to have a game on it.

However, whenever I try and launch the game either from the desktop or Origin itself, my browser loads up and says connecting (trying to connect to battlelog so I can join a game).

But it just continues to say connecting, with nothing happening. Eventually this message pops up:

'Secure Connection Failed

The connection to battlelog.battlefield.com was interrupted while the page was loading.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.'

Have any of you excperienced this before, or at least know how to fix this issue?

Not heard of this issue, have you tried reinstalling?
Can you log into battlelog in a browser without launching the game?
 
When I launch the game in Origin it usually loads battlelog in Firefox so that I can join a game.

I can't log into Battlelog in a browser, but can log into the mobile version on my phone.

Do you think something like Sky shield could be blocking my access? As the last time I played the game Sky shield was not active.

As for reinstalling, the game was uninstalled and then installed the day before yesterday, I managed to play one game. Then I tried again yesterday, and have not been able to play.
 
Odd... You should be logging into battlelog in firefox or whatever first, then (if everything is updated) can select single player or a multiplayer server... origin will then open and start battlefield.

Update PB? All battlelog updated etc?
