i have an AMD athlon 64 6000+, the 90nm version so its chucking out a lot of it, but i have sufficient cooling in the form of a thermaltake blue orb which keeps it quite cool
im also using a 780g board by gigabyte, and it gives sufficient overclocking options for me inlcuding voltage control, htt link control, ram voltage and stuff like that
ive been trying and trying to get this processor to 3.3 stable, i know its reaching the limits of the K10 architecture but ive seen it can be done, but i honestly cant do it, i tried increasing fsb while increasing nb voltage, lowering htt link speeds and lowering multipliers and raising the fsb, but i can never get it stable
any ideas? or is it just not going to be possible in this setup?
