Hello

Thank you for giving some great overclock setting for my old i73970x to OC it to 4.8ghz they have worked well for a long time .

But I just got a new i74960x and I hope to get it overclocked to around 4.6 4.7 ghz if possible ?

Please can you give me a set of settings to use ?

Motherboard is Asus Rampage IV extreme
I also have 2,400mhz ram so I would like to use XMP to get the full 2,400mhz as before if this is still possible with the new chip .

Thx for your continued help , making high overclocking possible for people like me :-)

Thanks
Luke

VCCSA 1.2
4.6 Multi

Digipower
LLC high

Try this first.

Thanks loads for this ,but please can you explain in more detail what and where these settings are found or how to make "Optimised power profiles" and
140% Current
120% Current on VCCSA
and on all RAM Channels with Optimised Power profiles ?

It's just that in the last set of setting you gave me these were not included , so this part is new to me.

You say this chip is Likely not a great overclocker , what is the average ghz I could expect to be able to reach ?

Thanks
Luke
