Please help me pick a VR headset

I've checked all the options, weighed up all the pros and cons. Watched hours of youtube trying to decide.

I've actually got a PSVR sitting on the shelf that I haven't opened as I don't actually have a PS4 at the moment, so will probably flog that or send it back.

I have the space (just) to use room scale and my rig should be able to handle most VR on decent settings. The budget is stretched but I can afford to invest in either the Vive or Rift just about. I will probably mainly game at the desk, but will be happy to do some standing / room scale stuff. I mainly want to pick the right platform for the future, I'm hoping to get at least a couple of years out of this thing.

How much space do you have exactly? You'll probably find it frustrating playing the vive if you've not got room to duck, sidestep, swing your arms about etc as it's all part of the immersive experience!

If you're going to be sat at your desk playing racing games save money and just get the rift.

Ordered vive. I've got about 2.5m x 2.5m in gaming room and slightly more in front room if I move furniture. Bought some brackets to screw in both rooms for easy moving. Htc vive seems the more complete experience and has more available on steam which is preferable to me.
