Hi all, just wondering if any of you can help with me with troubleshooting a problem im having... basicly every so often when i turn my pc on and start using my gpu (playing a game or folding) my computer will start to slow down , the mouse pointer will judder across the screen and any sound playing will glitch and sound distorted like its playing a broken record or something, this gets continualy worse untill my pc either crashes or freezes, sometimes bsod. if i stop using my gpu the computer will return to normal but still a little glitchy.
However a reboot will always solve this problem and will be ok forever untill another cold start.
things i have tried so far:
replacing hard drive for a ssd then back to normal hdd
replaced video card
updated all drivers
updated bios

I7 920 @stock
asus p6t
470gtx
Corsair XMS3 6GB
3 x 1 TB f3's
asus xonar d2
Hauppage tv card
Zalman 850w power supply
