The computer in the office was very slow and kept hanging, even after a reformat. As the computer is going to be used for many hours everyday and is crucial to the family business i thought the best thing to do was to upgrade the psu, memory and motherboard so nothing would be faulty. I also don't have the time or the equipment to test every component
The new hardware I've installed is:
-"Sansun" 300watt psu
-Asus M2V AM2 motherboard
-Sempron 3000+ cpu (Retail HSF)
-512 DDR2 ram from a competitor
-Asus EN6200LE graphics (pci-e)
The system will power on but the monitor says 'no signal' so i have no idea what the problem could be.
Is there anything i'm missing here? I've done all the usual checks like checking the graphics card and cpu are seated properly and that the cmos jumper isn't set.
thanks in advance
