Hi all

I need to upgrade my computer to be capable of handling 3d work (3ds max) as well as running newer games (Battlefield 3 and PlanetSide 2) at a better performance.

I'm looking to spend as little as possible, below £350 is good. I like the idea of a SSD and I would like to explore the possibility of SLI graphics with my current card. Do the two cards need to be identical?

Here is my current setup

Asus GeForce GTX 460 1024MB DirectCU GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Intel Core i5 760 2.80GHz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156)
Geil Black Dragon 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Triple Channel (GB36GB1333C9TC)
Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H Intel H55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 microATX Motherboard
250GB HDD

What PSU do you currently have? (for sli might need more powerful / better one)

Does you current machine struggle with the 3d max work and bf3?

Sell your 460 make some cash back and get below
YOUR BASKET
1 x KFA2 GeForce GTX 660 EX OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £189.95
1 x Samsung 128GB SSD 830 Desktop Series SATA 6Gb/s KIT with Norton Ghost - (MZ-7PC128D/EU) £79.99
1 x Thermalright HR-02 Macho CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775/LGA1156/LGA1155/LGA1366) £39.98
Total : £321.32 (includes shipping : £9.50).

Or sell your 460 (should get 60 quid i reckon atleast (porbably more) then with 30 quid spare and money you make off it, upgrade to a 660ti

Also using above cpu cooler should allow you to overclock your current cpu some.
