Firstly, I am wanting to replace the CPU with an Intel i9, a motherboard to match it and at least 16gb ram but what i am stuck on is what motherboard to get. It must have an M.2 ssd slot as i want to upgrade my ssd too.

Secondly, what are your thoughts on M.2? Is there generally any difference between them and an ssd? I know the read/write speed is faster but will it impact my gaming massively?

Thirdly, what type of psu is recommended? I currently have a 1000w psu (Corsair). I know a big chunk of money will be in purchasing an intel i9 and ideally wouldn't want to spend over £1000 upgrading this PC.

The games i play are mmorpg's and i would want to run them on the highest settings. I do currently but as more games come to fruition, my PC wouldn't run as well as it once did having ddr3 ram and an old msi motherboard with intel i7 4th gen. Please give me your thoughts.

Thank you.
