Hi Friends

Please help me which MOB to go for ?

Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5 Intel LGA1150 Z97 ATX Motherboard (4x DDR3, 6x USB3.0, 8x USB2.0, HDMI, DVI-I, DSUB)

which is better ? Is both these MOBs compatible with DDR4 ? Please shed some light ?

The Z97 range along with associated processors only take DDR3, you wil need Skylake for DDR4.

You have only put one board down,

Can you please put some boards here which can take DDR4 , also will DDR4 go with i7 4790k processor ?

Z97 mb only for 4970K and only DDR3

Z170 mb only for 6700K and DDR4

They are completely different platforms and you cant mix.

Hi

In that case i have to go with Devils Canyon and a suitable motherboard basically for DVD Blu ray encoding so should i choose Asrock or gigabyte ?
