Im having a complete noob moment and cant figure out anything.

Can someone tell me exactly what I need to do to install and run memtest

I want to run it from a CD, but my brain is TOTALLY failing me, I cant work out what files I need to put where and what I need to do

Did you download the .iso version?

If so then all you need to do is burn it using ImgBurn or similar and then boot from it. You may need to set up your BIOS so that it boots from a CD before a hard drive.

Tell me if Ive done anything wrong-

I downloaded the file from the website (memtest86+-2.01.iso.zip)
unzipped and then wrote that to cd.

Is that all I need do?

Cool, Ive tested both sets of RAM with no errors reported.
