Please Help MSI 290x Lightning Issue on BF4

I'm having this weird issue on BF4 and can't work out what is wrong.

I have i5 2500k factory settings.
8GB DDR

I have my res set at 2560 x 1440 on ultra with 2 x mmsa


When playing a game on most of the maps I'm getting a steady 65 - 80 FPS
but as soon as I use a Scope or jump in a tank and use Tank view my FPS goes CRAZY and jumps down to 40 FPS - 50 FPS Is this what should be happening >? I don't get it , is it a glitch .

If this is normal then I think ill go and buy another 290x as its bugging the hell out of me and it does lag the game.

What is your FOV at??

Default would be 70fov - the fov setting can put much more stress on the GPU. So might be worth taking a look here and see what you have.

I like to play with 80fov a good balance.

At 1440P-1600P 82-90 is a good balance. Me personally i use 82.

I don't use Mantle as I'm under the impression its been designed for low end Graphics cards or have I got this completely wrong and should use it ?

Mantle should work nice with your card , try it

See this Full Ultra @1080p and my FPS don't drop below 100fps on what I would say is the most demanding bf4 map.
On DX11 My FPS would go into 70fps at some points of this map.

You deserve a slap but ill let you off lightly with a warning.

Oh you're in for a treat...

1. Uninstall you're old drivers.
2. Restart
3. Install 14.3 Beta - http://www.guru3d.com/files_get/amd_catalyst_14_3_beta_download,1.html
4. Restart.
5. Load up BF4, select Mantle from the video options, apply and restart the game.
6. Different gravy.

I told you how to fix your problems but you couldn't be bothered to type the console command to disable the dodgy dice frame pacing method.

Hmmm........I've seemed to lost the ability to run BF3 or BF4; upgraded drivers to 14.3 and poof; won't load......think I might need to delete and reinstall themish...

14.3s don't give me the same mims as 14.2s so rolling back to them

Repair install via origin. Disable Dices frame pacing method in game via console. Probably the reason for your reduced perf.

I've tried repairing from Origin; uninstalled the browser launcher; reinstalled DX; only thing I haven't done is updated flash. It just doesn't launch LOL
