I've just finished building my shuttle and when I turn it on everything lighs up the fans start the dvd drive turns it will be like this fw a few seconds then it will justturn off hen it will turn on again then just keep repeatig that process. Please what could be wrong, Can I fix it?

Try a CMOS reset see if that helps, if not try removing one stick of ram then try another stick to ensure it is not ram coursing you problems.

There should be jumper on the board which resets the BIOS within the board and may re-sort it's self out - or remove the battery for 10mins.

Thanks but i think i sorted that out i dislodged a chip on the mobo and i put it back in and now it will stay on but now have no outputs the mouse isn't lit the screen isnt on and theres no lights on the keyboard is that the same thing.

I have not used a SP32P2 but my guess is there the same as older versions.

Disconnect everything including the power lead.
At the back of the shuttle you will see a small whole with the word CMOS next to it.
Put a small pen or pin into the whole and press for at least for 10 secs.
Re-connect everything and boot onto BIOS reset Date and set to load Optimized Defaults.
Press F10 to save and exit.

Thats it.

Still nothing but I know the RAM itself is okay because its from an older computer till get have some more money but i will get some more RAM is this okay do you think?

I assume you have checked that the Ram you have is compatible with the shuttle.
Was the RAM OK when it was installed on your last system.
Can you check the RAM in another system to confirm it´s OK.

Faulty memory is the first thing I would check.

Thanks I checked the compatibilty on the OCUK website then went on to the forums and i thought it was fine. The RAM worked in my old computer. YehI think it's the processor it isn't on the compatibility list.
