i have a 920 i7 do stepping processor and a X58A UDA motherboard and 6gb kingston hyperX ddr3 2000 CL8 240 memory but cannot get my easy tune to show more than 1983 CPU, QPI LInk 2973, BCLK 165, Multiplyer 12. How do i even moderately overclock this machine?????? I paid a fortune for good ram but having no luck. How does everyone else do it? I have bought the best motherboard, best ram and a popular processor everyone else uses so what different about my computer??

I know little about the i7 range.... But I imagine you will be better off if you forget the little app you're using, and go straight to the bios!
If I were you, I would head on over to the Overclocking & Cooling section. I'm pretty sure there will either be a guide already, or you can ask in there again and get better answers

You will have to compromise how much you overclock your CPU if you want to run your RAM at 2000MHz due to the limitations of the IMC of the i7 920. Don't expect to achieve 4GHz with your RAM running at full speed without investing further in water-cooling - even then it is not guaranteed.
