Please help problem with either cpu or motherboard

Can someone help me please i was cleaning my pc of dust and when i removed cpu fan cooler the cpu was connected but i never saw it and it dropped and bent pins they been straightened put back in socket went in clean when restart pc it does not boot the flashing for loading is not working at all I was told it was either cpu shock or my motherboard been shocked but the light on my b450 still turns on, which needs replacing cpu or motherboard ???

Did it hit the motherboard? I highly doubt it did a lot of damage to your board to be honest as its AM4

Take out the CPU again and make sure all the pins are 100% corrected and that nothing has broken off.

Then try again..

@Jackabamba it fell on my work surface

@ Keenan i have done that it goes in perfect now no pins missing,the first time only 3 sides went in perfect but i had it on but my cores in my command centre was going up and down
