hi

i have the lian A 17a

how does the DVD drive fit in at the top, does it fit to the two side plates with screws,

also it has two power buttons on the roof, a large one and a liitle one, but no wiring or anything on the other side of them, are these easy to buy and fit

Yes, there were no mounting mechanisms for the A17's 5"1/4 bays, you just mount using screws.

As for the buttons, one is power, one reset, if they are missing the physical switch (behind the button fascia) then you should be able to rig up any old momentary push-to-make switch behind them, but you might have to fabricate something to hold them there if you are missing the entire switch unit.
 
YES i'm missing the switch unit behind these on both, they're just plastic push through thingies, that do nothing !

the trouble is the case is quite modded, i ripped everything out 2 years ago to get the fans in etc, but i cant remember what i removed :D
