Please help : want to import contacts from CSV file to Outlook 6

Hi

I want to send a mass mailout. I have a CSV file containing the list of people i want to send the mail too but i can't work out how to get it into Outlook. I googled it and found a solution but my outlook does not seem to tally with what the solution says so i am presuming the solution is using a newer outlook.

Does anybody know how to do this please? I have Outlook express 6 and use Windows XP

Open outlook express.

File>Import>Other address book

Then select the bottom option, should be "Text File (comma separated Values)"

Click import and point it to the relevant file.


Depending on how its been formatted you may have to fiddle a bit with the fields options.
