Hi Guys,

I'm currently running an overclocked i7 920 rig, and want to upgrade to Haswell.

What ever one I get I plan on getting 16gb. They all have the same chip, so my question is what extra benefit would I get from spending £620, as opposed to £450????

I use my PC, mainly for Office, Internet, Photoshop and Video Editing, and some gaming. I also dual screen on a 27" monitor and a 24" if that helps.

Thanks in Advance.

With regards the motherboards the difference is mostly around the distribution of the PCIE lanes, which you go for depends on how many graphics cards you will have and what other cards you want (eg. Sound card), plus you need to see if you want PCI support.
The other main thing is the power phases, which is only really important if you are going for extreme overclocking.

I think you should go for the cheaper option.

The expensive option uses the OC board which is focused at one thing and that is extreme overclocking.

Thanks guys. Realistically I'll probably have a single GTX 770.
I probably need around 6 Sata ports, and that's about it. :)

I must admit the motherboard on the expensive setup does look sexy tho :)
