Hi there, all help is much appreciated.
Although I consider myself fairly computer savy, when it comes to Routers/Internet im fairly un educated and hence need some of your guys help diagnosing a problem.
For around a month or two, the laptops in our house would lose connection to our router, or rather, the signal stays strong, but the internet isnt accessible.
Despite this, all green lights would indicate on the router that the internet IS connected.
This however would usually remedy itself in a minute or two, and come back.
Move forward to yesterday when these exact same symptoms occurred but lasted much longer (majority of the day)
Also, whilst looking at the router at times, some lights would be flashing manically, then go back into a routine of trying to connect to the internet, something I havent witnessed before.
Today isnt much better, and im taking the opportunity I have now to put out this message before it dies again.
Talk Talk have been notified and the unhelpful woman said I wont get a call back from an engineer till friday.
Now, my feelings tell me its the router dying, (its about three years old Linksys) but without much knowledge of Noise etc I cant say for certain.
Any help in diagnosing this problem by you kind folks really would earn a big internet hug.
Of course, if I do not reply any time soon this might be because it has died again
Thanks again
