Please Help with 360 and Media sharing with PC

ok .. so have Vista 64 and 360 connected via a Linksys router (hard wired)

fine ....

turn on the 360 and the PC "sees" the 360 fine

I can run Media centre on both, and the 360 can access everything on PC fine.

but WMP11 .. no go ... if I go into WMP11 settings -it can see the 360 .. I give the 360 the permission to access etc ...

then on 360 - go to videos, pc, and it can't find any pc on the network :(

I've enabled UPNP, I've opened up the recommended ports by Microsoft, and I've even DMZ'd the 360 .. to no avail, and also disabled Kaspersky.

any ideas please ?

I can't work out how Windows Media Centre works and can talk to the PC - but nothing else can ?

hi there.

There is a firewall Kaspersky on the pc - have tried "pausing" its protection AND shutting it down.

I can't understand why media centre would work ?

windows firewall is disabled

re last point - not quite sure what you mean - but I don't think so. Its annoying that I can "see" the 360 on my PC ... and can select it to be shared wit

I think Vista 64 is the problem !
