Hi all,

I'm about to embark on my first gaming rig and would like a second opinion on my shopping list.

Motherboard
Asus P5N32-E PLUS SLi nForce (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Processor
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

Graphics card
OcUK GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail

Power supply
Corsair HX 620W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-620HXUK)

Hard drive
Samsung SpinPoint T HD501LJ 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM

Obviously the first question is does it all work together or are there any basic newbie errors?

My thoughts are that although I'm not going for the SLi graphics card (too expensive), if I go for an SLi Mobo I will be able to upgrade to SLi graphics later? Thoughts?

Thanks in advance
Lar

Looks Good so far.. so to answer your question... yes it'll all work together :p

My only personal question would be raised on the motherboard, but only because I don't know enough about it. The P35 chipsets are a good bet and the Gigabyte DS3R is a popular choice and apparently GREAT for overclocking. But like I said, I don't know enough about the ASUS board to comment :)

Edit: after a quick search on the boards about the P5N32 a few people have had problems with memory issues and compatibility... worth knowing !
