Hello all.
The house I have just moved into only seems to have a phone socket downstairs which I have an O2 wireless router plugged into. Upstairs in the office is a PC without a wireless card.
I also have a Linksys WRT54G which I used to use as a wireless router when I was on Virgin Cable internet. Currently this is unused.
I have a few questions:
1. The WRT54G as I understand can be used as a Cable or an ADSL router? Or is that not the case? For some reason if I unplug the O2 router and plug in the WRT54G it doesn't work. (this is kind of besides the point of this post but thought it was worth asking here). I would just rather use the Linksys as I believe I will get better signal upstairs with it.
2. Is it possible to plug the WRT54G in in the office and then connecting the PC to it via ethernet, using the WRT54G as a Wireless Access Point? If so, how can I do this?
