Hi folks my 1st build has gone well and im wanting to get it all running as it should i,e memory mhz from 1333 to 1600 mhz.

This is what cpu-z says at the mo:

DDR3 channels Dual
Size 4096 mbytes
DC mode unganged
NB Freq 2008.7 mhz

Timings

Dram Freq 669.6 mhz
3:10
9.0
9
9
24
33
1t

Does the 669.6mhz freq mean its running 1333 in dual state?

Also i been into bios to look for where to change from 1333 to 1600 and can't find:confused: could someone please give me a bit of guidence, thanks.

Im using G.Skill ripjaws F3-12800cl9
asus m4a785td v evo mobo

Happy new year..

yep, 666 (or slightly higher) means its running at 1333.

In the bios go to advance and select the first tab. Then scroll down to the bottom of this screen, there should be a memory timings and voltage option. Change the memory clock mode from auto to manual. Another option will then be available to set the divider(memclock value i think its called),change it from 666 to 800. Then you need to change the dram timing mode from auto to manual and set up the ram as per the timings on the stick (probably 9-9-9-24??)

trp-9
tras-24

under there setting there should be a memory overvoltage option, i presume to run at 1600Mhz you require the voltage to be increased from 1.5 to 1.65. This is where you up the voltage. Failure to do this will cause the pc not to boot at the spec.
