please help!!!

hi i have two pcs and one of them has died !my problem is that my course work is on that pc! so i took the hdd out of the dead computer to slave it to the other pc, the problem is becuse my user acount had a password on it,it wont let me access the data i need on the drive

does anybody have any ideas on how i can get my data? thanks in advance martin (tomo2big)

right click on folder, sharing and security, go to the latter tab and add 'everyone' with full control

hi mate thanks for quick response ,i dont seem to have these opions in shareing and sercurity ,when i try and share the folder it says access denied ,any other sugestions?

i had assumed you meant xp pro which doens't require going into safe mode
