will a XFX nForce 790i Ultra SLI (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard and Leadtek GeForce GTX 280 1024MB GDDR3 in SLI work better or will the

280 gtx sli work better in a x38/x48 Mobo??

please help :confused:

X38/X48 motherboards cannot support SLI, only Crossfire, so you'd need that 790i Ultra board you've said.

Probably yes, although that's more of a graphics card question. I would post that question in the graphics card area and you'll get much better responses
