please help

i have some of this, a gigabyte ds3 p45 and an e5200

im trying to set up the ram manually to cure hangs and bsod's

any ideas what settings i need to run the bios at ? atm all ive done is set the multiplier to x7 @ 300mhz (so 400mhz less than standard clock) and the ram at 2.1v as recommended, and its not stable at all

Have you tried to upgrade bios of the mb ?

Are Gigabyte still asking you to press CTRL+F1 to get access to the advanced settings menu or can you see the RAM timings?
