Hi all, I recently installed my new ASUS rampage III Gene and Point of View GTX 590, went without a hitch. Then I had many blue screens and mouse lag crashes which I have since fixed with a bit of BIOS messing, but now my PC completely freezes only when playing games. when it freezes the picture freezes and my G510 lights go out and so does my G9x lights, have to hold power button to fix. I monitored GTX 590 temps using CPUID Hardware Monitor, which showed temps of 85 when playing RUSE on max settings, but these temps are apparently normal. Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

I have an 875 Watt PSU, i7 920 OC'd to 3.2Ghz and my temps only hover round 55 when playing games. Ive had my CPU OC'd to 3.8 previously without any problems at all

well, my machine was bought last year as an alienware, but since replaced all the parts bar the PSU and HD, so i'd assume the make was DELL. I just checket through the Event Viewer to look at when it happened earlier today, and it says its a critical event 41 Kernel - power error, mean anything to anyone?

I tried that before, to see whether id need a new one, its in a moulded part of the case and is built in. It didnt say anything on the side of it or the back of the machine :(

This did only start a few days ago after I bumped up the IOH and CPU voltages to get rid of my mouse lag, audio crackle game lag crashes, now I stop getting them, and now it freezes :(

yep, reinstalled windows after installation of new components, had to fiddle with BIOS settings because default ones would BSOD me and give me that mouse lag audio problems

right, after this last time of freezing, some of my rear USB ports wouldnt work, this is getting very confusing
