Looking for help guys!!!
Hi all hope Im posting this in the correct place.
My son (10) is not a huge gamer and prefers to play laptop games, he been playing a football manager game that has been mislaid, Never had box just the disc and we cant remember what it is called.
It was a fair few years old, id say around 99/00 maybe even 01.
It was never downloaded onto laptop just played.
All I can remember from playing with him is that you could do the following -
4 players.
Multiple leagues from around the world.
You could play 4 managers of 4 diff clubs at same time and buy players off the other managers cheap as you controlled their reply to accept the fee u offered.
Chairman set you tasks to be completed by certain amount of years, you chose 2,3 or 4 yrs.
You could build stadium bigger, car park,cafe,floodlights,training ground etc. But if you was building one you had to wait for completion before building something else.
All contact was via emails (in the game not real)
players were graded by Stars 1,2,3,4 or 5..One being low quality etc.
you could promote a player from youth team.
you could also employ Doctor, physio,assistant manager etc and again all these were graded by 1-5 stars.
I think it was an EA game but poss not, do remember you could save wherever you wished during the game and it also had a bad issue of just crashing in the middle of a game!!
