Hi folks so replaced the thermal paste on my 5700xt red devil.

And yep I damaged the RGB header in the process.

What are my options? Can I super glue it back Lol ? If the metal connectorst will it work?

Or can I buy a converter of some sort? Or 4 pin of whatever that is to RGB?

That's been pulled off the circuit board by the looks of it - meaning it took the connector with it.

If you're lucky it can be soldered back down. If you're less lucky, the solder pads have been ripped off too.

I wouldn't expect gluing it down to provide a food enough contact for a) 4 pins to all connect and b) substantial current to pass.

A photo of the spot it came from might clarify things.

So you ripped the header out of the black cable?

Can you not plug it back into the GPU controller?

Sorry, i don't know that much about RGB so not even sure what that black cable is for. :p
