Hello to all of you overclockers.
I'm just at the point to know where to turn for help on my overclocking rig. I have done a few alterations to the bios fsb and thats about it, but from here on everytime I do something else I have problems so don't know what I'm doing wrong..
My rig consist of:
Cooler master cosmos 1000 case
namless 850w psu
Asus P5K Premium
Intel dual core E8200 2.66GHz overclocked to 3.584GHz
4gb Corsair pc2-8500
HIS Radeon 4850 512mb memory
tuniq 120 cpu cooler
fans:
2 x 140 mm 61cfm exhust fans top
1 x 120 mm 55cfm exhust fan rear
2 x 120 mm 45cfm intake to gpu side panel
1 x 120 mm 61cfm intake bottom
1 x 120 mm 61cfm intake front
Disk storage
Samsung SP1614 160GB x 2
Samsung HD103UJ 1T
WDC WD1600YS 160GB
WDC WD5000YS 500GB
I was triying to make a raid 0 with the two Samsungs 160gb but I never had luck with the conections so I give up in the end so only one is the OS and the others storage. I would like to make a raid 0 still but I read that it does not improve speed so I don't know, something for the futeure I guess.
for now I need some one that can help me going foward with my overclock I want to reach 4GHz if possible.
Well I don't know what else to mention only that I would apreciated any response and help from any of you chaps. if you want to contact me bya email it's fine there it is

Welcome.

Namless Power supply probably isn't doing you any favours when overclocking. I'd swap it for something decent (have a look a OCUK's range, nearly all of them are decent makes)

Yep, thats a relly nice build, but a 500w good brand psu would be much better than what you have. Maby try a corsair. Remember amps mean as much as watts

You don't mention what Vcore ur running, what ur north bridge volts are, basicly those are the 2 main things to raise when it won't go further.

Hey thx for the response, ;) I may have to do that I brought it coz I was in a budget, but I can estrech to something more substantial. in terms or Vcore and north bridge volts I'm a bit lost lol  :D I'm new to this overclocking and build so I will have to try to find out.
But cheers I apreciate all your help. I will post some pics of this build as I go a long.:)
