Honestly for the sake of saving up as much cash as possible I would consider try sending your current PCs for repairs.

2:walk to the bin
3: put it in the bin
4:go to an apple store
5:buy a mac book pro or macbook air

You don't say if you have experience building pc's and don't take this the wrong way but owning 8 pc's in 5 years then I'd say stay away from building one yourself.
