I really need help identifying a film or series, it's driving me and the Mrs wild!
I'm afraid there isn't much to go on, all that we can remember is that it ends with a woman/ husband/ both lying on the floor of a newly purchased property either with their hand on the floor or laying a rose down in a specific spot in the room where someone either died or was buried below. And then I'm pretty sure it pans out to a wider shot of a whole new estate. Definitely American based by the size of the houses and estate.
It was probably a thriller but not necessarily a horror film (as the Mrs wouldn't watch it). She's pretty sure that the plot also included this couple trying to buy the house and almost not being able to or someone finding out about the dead person.
