I wouldnt flash a bios from windows mate..

Download the bios from another machine and copy to a bootable usb and flash from there

.. Looks an OS issue tbh mate, tried reinstalling?

It cant be a OS as ive tried it with 2 differnt hard drives with 2 completly differnt windows and each time stops at same point.

Whats the procedure in flashing from a usb key?

Are you using an existing installation of Windows with new motherboard, or is it a fresh install of window after changing the motherboard?

Cause for example...a Window installed with a MSI motherboard might not work if you just pull the hard-drive and use it with a Gigabyte motherboard.

Well it was installed on the Asus but the asus now doesnt work and the gigabyte works but the new motherboard (also gigabyte) im hoping to get it to work with doesnt. Going to see if can figure how to flash this bios with a usb pen

Ok so ive flashed the bios with the latest and still not working, might try the reistall windows bit next, dont get how it wouldnt start with the asus one though but any idea better then nothing.

I've had that kind of issue when the disk controller was changed/incorrect.

Have you tried changing the controller type in the BIOS recently?

please tell us you have reloaded windows since changing boards? Same brand or not...

IF not, do it :D

OR,

Hirens boot disk and boot into a MINI XP, see if it works.
