Hi there!

I am coming back to PC's first time in 12 years. Been using gaming laptops for years as my work had me moving all the time. Now with my £3500 budget I am trying to put something together that will last me for 3-4 years with no hiccups on newest games and also allow me to stream and record gameplays in 1440p. I ran a small youtube gaming channel as a hobby to I game, record and edit quite a bit in my spare time.

Here is what I have right now but in the last 12 years a lot of changed and not going to lie I am uber nervous about buying something ****. Haha.

Thank you so much everyone who will chip in!

Unless you need the extra pci lanes that the 6850k has the 6800k is a better option cost/performance especially if your overclocking.

With the release of Ryzen cpu by Amd im not sure if an 8 core 16 thread would be better suited for your needs, hopefully others wil have some input.

If you're happy spending that on them parts, then it's a decent build, if not it's worth checking the Ryzen CPU's out. In terms of the SSD, depending on what you want, you could get a smaller storage sized NVMe drive and have leftover for a 1-2TB HDD for added storage.
