Interesting that i5 i7 article, but why did they put a 2.66GHz i5 against the 3.33GHz i7? Of course at that clock speed difference the i7 should show an advantage, but the point of the article seemed to be to compare the i5/p55/no HT/dual channel platform with the i7/x58/HT/tripple channel platform, so why not have the cpus at the same clock speed to compare the platforms fairly? Who runs an i5 750 at stock? If they'd done the test clock-for-clock the i7 probably wouldn't have won in any games. Surely all they showed was the differences between two different clocked CPUs - how did that show the difference between the platforms. Stoopid.
