Hi all

Have an old LG 5.1 system that ive had for yonks and the DVD player hasnt worked for ages

Now have bought a new tv and the large floor standing speakers block 2 inches or so from each side (50-55”) due to the speakers round base and position of the tv.

Cant find my exact one but think of this but with round bases

Would like to replace the whole lot but it
Must be able to switch on and off with the tv so I don’t have to mess about with another remote.

Budget 5-600 maybe squeeze a bit
More if it really makes a difference and ideally from richer sounds as I like thier guarantee hoping ocuk can come up with some suggestions

Small speakers are typically a compromise. Since you have a low budget then you want to limit the number of speakers you're buying, then buy the rest later.

Something like Q Acoustics 2020i at £80 a pair, with AVR at £250. 10" sealed box sub at £350. BK XLS 200

This look any good?

The denon one mentioned above looks good. Altho isn’t that expensive at unit wasted with those small speakers?

I've had a similar Onkyo set-up for many years and it's been great. Given the fact you're coming from a fairly low-end all-in-one thing, you'll be really impressed. You don't need to be spending £350 on a sub to get something you'll be happy with, unless you want to of course.
