Please recommend a Wired USB Mouse

I'm using Razer DeathAdder.. The driver software once gave me a BSOD but recently i've had no problems... if I were to get a new mouse i'd probably go for the MX518 due to all the positive comments about it.

can't ignore all the recommendations so just got the MX518. thank you all.

p. s. next on my shopping list: webcam and mic

Despite it looks i must admit MX518 is without a doubt one of the best best bang for buck mouse, i have ever used. Such a good all rounder.

Getting a G9x hope it at least on par with the 518 :)

EDIT - sorry my typing was atrocious which need correcting :)

Used the G9x the other day. Felt very uncomfortable for me. Coming from a Microsoft Sidewinder X8 just felt very unnatural because of the odd shape.

The MX518 is a brilliant mouse for the money! Must pick one up for my other machine when it's next on offer somewhere!:)

The G9x does look odd but there a number of interchangable grips and weights. From some of the reviews i read it shouldnt be too bad....hopefully.

Being a fan of the 518, i will write a brief comparison once i get it to let you guys know :)

Right got the new G9x and got a mixed feelings about this.

Pros-
Shape - Feels comfortable with both large and small grips. Still not sure which one I prefer (grip wise). Although not as good as MX518 in my current opinion, however hopefully i will get use to it.
Accuracy - very very smooth, probably more precise in the movements than the MX518,
Movement - Both 518 and G9x are good and glide across my Razer hard steel mat effortless, Edge this to G9x as the added weights does make a difference, if like me u like a heavier mouse. If you dont not a problem you can adjust the weights to suit
Profiles - are quite good but not something i can imagine i would use a lot.
DPI - on the fly Adjustable DPI, again not really something i currently use but that could change i suppose.

Cons

I really only have one issue with this mouse and when i read this on the net i'd never imagine it would literally be this bad.

Middle Mouse Button
- argh it so hard to press compared to other mouses. You literally have to force it a good bit to register the click, At first i thought wtf, is there even a middle button.??

There is also a tilt left and right button functions on the same button as well. hmmm not sure yet but like i say it early stages. Not really happy about it but i will see if i get use to it or not. :(

Overall fairly happy with it. Will perceiver and see what happens in the long run.

Looks like a nice mouse Kyo. How many inter-changeble grips do you get with it, I assume two from the images. How's the larger grip size compared to the 518?

It quite a bit bigger than the precision grip (x2). The main thing is the palm bit at the end which can rest your hands more around the mouse. I personally like the smaller one but it depends on your preference, as i could be play with both. In comparison to the 518 the large grip is around the same length but around 50% wider, so u can rest your thumb a bit better. It a lot flatter than the 518 as well.

The accuracy is astounding, so precise it much better than the mx518 in that aspect. The only thing that still bugs the hell out of me is the middle mouse button else i would love it.

Was just playing cs and l4d2 and half the time i ended up scrolling up or down (switching weapons by accident) because it so sensitive (even with the lowest setting) instead of jumping (my jump key is middle button) which takes some getting use to as if u dont click it right, you end up doing something entirely different :(.

Hope OCUK can get a good deal on that when it comes out :)

Saying it should be roughly the same price as well.
