Hey guys
The gf and I wanna bling up our bedoorm with some nice furniture and all that sort of thing. We are going the custom-build furniture route. Intially we thought we would go old-skool and get some graph paper, pencils and a drawing board but I thought we could put our PC to good use
I have Googled and visited Snapfiles etc. but havent found anything really. Got "Floorplan" off a computer-magazine cover DVD but its a bit confusing and not very user-friendly
I guess the ideal software would be an electronic version of real physical graph paper..just draw lines with the mouse etc.
Requirements (freeware or payware):
1. To easily draw a to-scale room outline from scratch.
2. Fill it with furniture that will be easy to move around with the mouse
3. The ability to view it in 3D would be great but its not essential
4. Should be easy for other people to view the file generated by the program. I guess it should have a free "viewer" version of the software (kind of like Microsoft has the PowerPoint viewer available for free).
Would be grateful for any ideas/recommendations.
Thanx
