Please recommend House Designing Software?

Hey people,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend some good house designing software that is out on the market for both Windows and Mac if possible..

Which ones do you recommend as ill be honest I have no idea about it :p

Interior or exterior?

Not sure why I'm asking because I haven't a clue, but someone else might. :p

Have you looked at Google Sketch Up or is that not the sort of thing you're looking for?

One of the guys at work redesigned his house with sketch up, looks like a pretty good tool.
