Please recommend me a photo editing software.

Hi guys.
I need a decent replacement for a Photoshop CS as I cannot use it anymore and have no money to buy my own copy :/
Can you recommend me a good photo editing software please? I don’t want to spend more than 60-70 quid, 100 will be an absolute top. I shoot mainly in RAW.

Elements 3 and RawShooter Essentials. The former will set you back around £50 the latter is free.

Have you tried The Gimp? I've seen it but never used it though - meant to be quite good though has a different workstyle to PS.

For some reason - putting gimp into google isn't the best idea.

I use Paint Shop Pro X - upgraded recently - few little niggles but other than that it's great - and was only £35..

There's also a plug-in for Gimp to make it look and work like Photoshop. A quick google give me this link. I've never used Gimp (or the GimpShop plug in) so I cannot comment how good it is.
