Please recommend me a sound card. Gamer with Headphones

Hi folkes,

Can you recommend me a sound card please? I only use my PC for games, not music / films. I also only use headphones (not speaks etc).

Until recently I'd just settle for onboard sound, but my mate just got a flashy sound card and his Mic sounds great and he's not stopped banging on about how good the games sound.

I've been recommended this :

i got that a few months back and it is awesome. I have a headset for gaming off that and my thoughts previous to purchase were that it wouldn't make that much difference, but had my speakers in onboard and wanted separate soundcards so I didn't have to route about switching cables.
It is amazing the difference it makes, it really is quite something else.
